Bhavan’s Kala Bharati imparts training in Fine Arts & offers:
 
ONE YEAR CERTIFICATE COURSE in :
  1. HINDUSTANI CLASSICAL MUSIC- (Vocal)
  2. HINDUSTANI LIGHT CLASSICAL MUSIC- (VOCAL)
  3. Instrumental :- Keyboard, Tabla, Guitar, Harmonium, Sitar etc.
  4. BHARATANATYAM (for Beginners)
  1. KATHAK (for Beginners)
  2. PAINTING AND GRAPHICS
    1. Drawing
    2. Graphics
    3. Composition in Water / Oil Medium
 
Registration
Classes for each of the courses will be held:
  1. Registration : 15th June, 2012 onwards
  2. Classes : Starting from 15th July, 2012
  3. Last date of Admission : 8th July, 2012
    (Apply before 5th July to avoid disappointment)
  1. Twice a week.
  2. From 4.00 p.m. onwards
  3. Of one hour duration.

SUMMER COURSES (June & July)

First Semester - (2 months : 4 Days in a Week):-

Intensive courses of 1st Semester standard are conducted during summer (June-July) in FRENCH, CHINESE, JAPANESE & SPANISH. Students passing the examination in July can join the regular IInd Semester in August.

French Morning Class from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Other languages Evening: 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.

Duration of Course :

One year of Jyotish Alankar and Jyotish Acharya has two terms and there shall be six lectures in a week, three on Saturdays and three on Sundays. Research classes will be held on both days for One year, However, for a batch, it will be held only on one day. There is about a month's break between two terms (June and December).

Timing of the Classes (For all courses)
Saturday
2.45 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. (Tea Break - 4.25 p.m. to 4.40 p.m.)

Sunday
1.30 p.m. to 4.45 p.m. (Tea Break - 3.30 p.m. to 3.45 p.m.)

Marma Chikitsa classes from 11 AM to 1.30 PM will be informed in advance.

(Subject to changes according to weather and other conditions. The Committee reserved right to alter the timing according to needs.)

The Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, an internationally reputed institution dedicated to the promotion of education and culture, is a charitable public trust founded by Dr. K.M. Munshi on november 7, 1938.

The founding members of the Bhavan include Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of the Republic of India, Shri C. Rajagopalachari, the first indian and last Governor General of India; Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of free India; Sardar Patel , Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, several distinguished scholars, statesmen and leaders of modern Indian renaissance.

From small beginning, the Bhavan has grown into a great intellectual, cultural and educational movement with 112 Kendras in India, 8 overseas Centres (in United Kingdom, United States of America, canada, Portugal, South Africa, Kuwait, Maxico and Australia) and 280 constituent institutions, besides a number of affiliated colleges.
